Stephane Besson appointed CEO of Coalition & Founder Trevor Foster-Black to be Region Head, Europe for CRISIL
London, March 4th, 2013 - Coalition, a leading analytics provider to global financial services firms, has appointed Stephane Besson as its new CEO. Stephane succeeds founder-CEO Trevor Foster-Black, who will become Region Head, Europe, for CRISIL and Chairman of Coalition. CRISIL acquired Coalition in July 2012.
Stephane joined Coalition from McKinsey & Company in 2006. He performed pivotal roles in developing Coalition’s Client Analytics and in the company’s global expansion, especially in North America. Under Stephane’s leadership, Coalition will continue to provide objective, actionable and cutting-edge analytics to management teams across the financial service industry, with an ambitious growth strategy.

Prior to McKinsey & Company, Stephane worked at BNP Paribas. Stephane holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an engineering master from Ecole des Mines de Paris.

London, 1 June, 2012 – Coalition Development Ltd, a privately-held London head- quartered analytics company, announces today that it has reached an agreement to be acquired by CRISIL, a subsidiary of Standard & Poor's and a leading provider of ratings, research and risk and policy advisory services.
Coalition provides high-end analytics to leading global investment banks and other financial services firms. On completion Coalition will be part of CRISIL’s Global Research & Analytics (GR&A) business. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
